FilesFi (filesfi.com) is a free, no-signup photo toolkit that runs entirely in your web browser. Every tool — background removal, enhancing, vector tracing, compression, and metadata cleaning — processes your photo on your own device. Nothing is uploaded to any server.
The five tools
- SnapClean — removes the background with an on-device AI model and exports a transparent PNG.
- Enhance — enlarges photos 2× or 4× with high-quality resampling plus sharpening (classic image processing, not AI).
- Vectorize — traces your image into a scalable SVG file.
- Shrink & Convert — compresses and converts between JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF.
- PrivacyShield — shows hidden EXIF metadata, strips it, and pixelates areas you mark.

1. The Service
FilesFi ("we", "us", "our") operates filesfi.com, a free, no-signup web toolkit that processes photos entirely in your browser: background removal, enhancing, vector tracing, compression/format conversion, and metadata inspection and removal.
2. How It Works
All processing happens locally on your device using open-source browser libraries. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers, and we never see, store, or have access to them.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and legally able to agree to these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or invasive of anyone's privacy; not to upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service; and not to misrepresent the source or ownership of files. You are solely responsible for the photos you process and for having the rights to use them.
5. Honest Capabilities
Tool descriptions on this site state what each tool actually does. "Enhance" uses high-quality resampling and sharpening — it is classic image processing, not AI upscaling. Results vary by photo; we make no guarantee of any particular output quality.
6. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilesFi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service (the Service is free: $0).

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

1. Your Photos Stay Yours
FilesFi processes every photo entirely in your browser. Photos are never uploaded to our servers, and we never see, store, analyze, or share them. When you close the tab, everything is gone.
2. Data We Do Collect
- Technical logs — standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and debugging.
- Cookies — see our Cookie Policy.
- Analytics — Google Analytics (page views only, no photo content) loads only after you accept cookies.
3. No Account Data
FilesFi requires no signup, so we collect no names, email addresses, or passwords.
4. Third Parties
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies (including DoubleClick cookies) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. We do not share your photos with advertisers — we never have them.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you (e.g., server logs). Contact hello@filesfi.com — we respond within 30 days.

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

filesfi_cookie_consent stores your cookie choice (12 months); filesfi_theme remembers dark/light mode. These cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.

Necessary cookies keep FilesFi working and remember your choices. Analytics and advertising cookies (with your consent) help us understand usage and keep FilesFi free forever.
